L&E director used false name
Anthony Hussain, a director of London & Edinburgh, which is seeking £1.25m from an AIM float, has used the false name Alistair Davenport and claimed to be a freelance worker rather than a director. The flotation document, claims the Guardian, does not reveal that L&E's contract for one of its key publications - the programme for Royal Ascot - has expired. Royal Ascot has yet to confirm whether it will renew. The float is to go ahead, but may well call into question AIM's regulatory regime.
